Ray Kennedy
[edit]- ... that Liverpool F.C. manager Bill Shankly resigned on the same day he spent a club record £200,000 to sign Ray Kennedy?
- ALT1:... that Ray Kennedy won the European Cup three times despite Stanley Matthews judging him as unlikely to make it as a professional footballer at the age of 16?
- ALT2:... that Ray Kennedy was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in November 1984, just three years after winning the European Cup with Liverpool F.C.?

- Long enough, GA, nominated soon enough (12 June, same day it became GA), and article is within policy.
- All the hooks are short enough, within policy and inline cited. I don't like ALT2, as it focuses too much on his illness for my liking. My preference would be ALT0, as I think it's the most interesting, although I'd be fine with ALT1.
- QPQ done.
- Overall, this nomination passes, congratulations. Joseph2302 (talk) 18:15, 16 June 2016 (UTC)
