Rachel Freier
[edit]- ... that in September 2016 Rachel Freier became the first Hasidic Jewish woman to be elected as a civil court judge in the state of New York? Source: "In first, Hasidic woman elected to serve as Civil Court judge in NY state" Jewish Telegraphic Agency. Source: "Rachel 'Ruchie' Freier of Brooklyn was elected a Civil Court judge in New York state, reportedly a first for a Hasidic woman in the state" The Forward.

- New enough (moved to mainspace on October 31, 2016; nominated 1 week later), long enough, citations included, current tone is neutral. DYK hook is reasonable length, supported by citations given, positive in tone. Checking for copyvio issues. Mary Mark Ockerbloom (talk) 22:21, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
- QPQ is done. Some close phrasing "worked as a legal secretary and paralegal", "commercial and residential estate law", "a licensed EMT and New York State paramedic"; you might see if other sources give more details to use in rephrasing, or try breaking up into more than one sentence. - @Mary Mark Ockerbloom: these are common job descriptions and are covered by WP:LIMITED. Yoninah (talk) 22:10, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
- I'm willing to accept that argument, @Yoninah:. Good to go. Mary Mark Ockerbloom (talk) 23:38, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
