  • It wasn't the first expedition to Kamet, but the first expedition that climbed it (as your article correctly says!).
Why not, ALT 1: ... that R. L. Holdsworth (pictured) reached the summit of Kamet, the highest mountain climbed at the time? Ericoides (talk) 09:29, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
Sounds fine to me..--DoscoinDoon 18:46, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
Image currently lacks a date or a author which places its copyright status in doubt (see commons:Commons:PD files and commons:Commons:Project scope/Evidence), and as a result I would not recommend it be displayed on the main page at this time. I have raised questions about the plausibility of the tags applied to other uploads by DoscoinDoon, which aggravates my concerns about this image - see commons:User talk:DoscoinDoon. The image subject would have to have been 23 or younger when this image was taken, based on the dates of birth in the article, and he looks older to me, particuarly after reviewing another image of him from 1922 at File:The Oxford Cricket Team (with RL Holdsworth), 1922.jpg. • Doscoin, I see you're in the process of improving the references. As I write this, Refs 10, 11, 12 and 14 need improving. Other than that, everything else on this interesting article is fine. Date and length check. Hook is referenced. No copyvio found. Get the remaining references improved, and we can pass this. Maile66 (talk) 18:43, 20 June 2012 (UTC).
For Alt1, the citation referring to it being the highest climbed at that date, is offline. Can you give the article a link to that fact? Maile66 (talk) 18:47, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
--I found one on GoogleBooks and added it, though it needs to be wrestled into a citation templates format and there may be a better one. Yngvadottir (talk) 19:10, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
  • Good to go. I found and inserted a book reference and URL to link it to..Maile66 (talk) 19:22, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
