Poplar River (Lake Superior)
[edit]- ... that the Lutsen Tie & Post Company bought a locomotive to service a railway along the Poplar River, but abandoned it on the shore of Lake Superior after only two years of service?
- Comment: I'd like to work the part about it sitting on the shore for 20 years in as well, but I'm running up against the character limit, and the sentence is getting wordy.

- 5x expansion, length, date and hook are fine, though the hook is from offline sources. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 14:04, 28 November 2011 (UTC) How about:
- ALT1 ... that near the Poplar River, a locomotive, briefly used for logging, lay abandoned for 20 years before being sold for scrap?
