- ... that the flathead gudgeon can be distinguished from the dwarf flathead gudgeon by its larger size and gill openings, and stripes on its sides?

- Length (just barely, also known as, it's fine), date, hook's reference verified for both articles. All non-lede paragraphs have refs; all refs appear to be RS. No apparent close-paraphrasing.
