These two articles are long enough and were new enough at the time of nomination. The hook facts are cited and accepted in good faith. The articles are neutral but the sources are mostly not accessible to me so I was unable to check for close paraphrasing. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:25, 11 July 2015 (UTC)

I don't think anyone except an old Philadelphian will click on this hook. What do you think about:
ALT1: ... that in the 1955 election, Philadelphians chose a veteran of World War I for mayor and a veteran of both World Wars for district attorney?

The idea is not to write something informative, but a hook – something that will reel readers in. If you don't feel this is "hooky" enough, please suggest something else. I added the inline cites in case you want to go ahead with ALT1. Yoninah (talk) 19:23, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
