phase space formulation
[edit]- ... that the quasi-probability distributions that solve the phase space formulation of quantum mechanics are ★-genstates?
- ALT1:... that quantum mechanics can be formulated entirely in phase space if a quantum system is represented by a quasi-probability distribution?

- Comment: The main curiosity for the general public would be the use of the ★ symbol in regular text. In its own right, this main topic in physics is so important and of interest to anyone who has ever worked on quantum mechanics that it's amazing this article didn't already exist. It has also been added as a main topic to Template:Quantum mechanics

- Could use some citations in the first section, it currently has none. I can understand almost nothing of the article, but that's because I know only a very little about physics equations. Anyway, I would also de-link "solve" in the hook, you don't want to distract people from the main article being promoted. So, some citations in section 1 and de-link a bit in the hook, and it should be good to go.--¿3family6 contribs 14:41, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
