Perunchani Dam
[edit]... that the Perunchani Dam (pictured) is part of the Kodiyar Irrigation System of four dams and associated works and its storage is utilized only through a combined canal system to provide irrigation?

- 5x expansion verified. New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. Image is freely licensed and appears in the article. QPQ done. However, the hook is textbookish rather than hooky. Could you suggest something else? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 10:29, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Yoninah:Thanks for the review. Matter of fact article, hence difficult to find an interesting hook. However, I am suggesting two alternative hooks.
ALT1 Hook ...that the interlinking of the Perunchani (pictured) and Chittar dams provides an additional irrigation potential of 15,000 acres (6,100 ha) in the system?
ALT2 Hook ... that the Perunchani Dam (pictured) was constructed between 1948-1953 by the then Travancore-Cochin State? --Nvvchar. 12:19, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
- Could we name the system in ALT1?
