Paul Abels
[edit]- ... that Paul Abels, the first openly gay minister to serve in a major Christian denomination in the United States, was nearly removed from his pastorate after he came out in the 1970s?

- --> New enough for newly created article, definitely long enough as it is greater than 1500 characters, is within policy (I tried to read especially carefully for neutrality given the controversial nature of the topic and I believe that it is neutral), and the fact is well cited within the article. I think it is interesting to a broad audience, as it is about the first openly gay minister from a major denomination. All in all I think it's good to go.
