Palestine
[edit]... that the historical region of Palestine comprises both the State of Israel and the Palestinian territories (declared as the State of Palestine)?

- Article meets criteria and the hook is properly formatted. However, the hook is very general...a DYK hook should be interesting. I suggest:

ALT1 is fine. It's very clearly stated "The first clear use of the term Palestine to refer to the entire area between Phoenicia and Egypt was in 5th century BC Ancient Greece, when Herodotus wrote of a 'district of Syria, called Palaistinê" in The Histories, which included the Judean mountains and the Jordan Rift Valley." and is appropriately sourced. — Maile (talk) 21:35, 18 March 2015 (UTC)
