Overjoyed (album)
[edit]- ... that the making of Heo Young-saeng's lead track "1.2.3" in his album Overjoyed was influenced by the musical style of Avril Lavigne, one of his favorite artists?
5x expanded by 001Jrm (talk). Self-nominated at 05:19, 2 May 2015 (UTC).
- Although everything else is OK, there are two big problems, in my opinion:
- The article was not 5× expanded, only around 3× expanded the week before 2 May (it would have to be 25,000 bytes long to be expanded five times)
- The article is overly reliant on primary sources, which aren't normally considered to be so reliable, especially if used a lot in a article, according to WP:RS
Good luck at improving this article further. Yours, Tomandjerry211 (Let's have a chat) 21:21, 20 May 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for reviewing. I believe it had been expanded 5x times from 547 B/94 readable prose to 3055 B/542 readable prose (which is 320 words more than the 5x minimum or 2735 words - non-prose not included). I nominated the article on DYK right after expanding it... which is on the same day. (May 2 at 05:15 - expanded --> May 2 at 05:19 - nominated the hook). As for the sources, I believe I added more secondary sources (Tower Records, Oricon, Korean Star Daily, barks.jp, etc.), than primary sources (Pony Canyon, YouTube). 001Jrm (talk) 02:40, 21 May 2015 (UTC)
- New review needed, since DYKcheck shows that the article is indeed 5x expanded, and was as of May 2 when this was nominated. Reviewer should check the primary/secondary sourcing issue raised earlier. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:37, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
- Article has indeed been expanded fivefold (547 to 3055 characters) within the week of the time of nomination. No copyright violations detected. Hook is accurate, judging from a machine translation of the article it cites. 23W 23:37, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
- QPQ also looks good. 23W 23:55, 9 June 2015 (UTC)

- Pulled from prep by The Rambling Man; significant grammatical issues in the article, enough so that the nomination should not have been promoted. (See WT:DYK#English, again for further details.) The article needs a comprehensive copyedit before it can proceed. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:38, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- I tried copyediting the article. I made it less like a promotion (hoping I succeeded). Thank you. 001Jrm (talk) 19:31, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- Further copy edited. BlueMoonset, is a fresh review necessary? I'd ask, but it looks like I won't be pissing around in that thread. 23W 21:00, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- New reviewer needed to check the article, particularly with regard to clear prose without grammatical issues. Thanks for the copyediting, 001Jrm and 23W, but given the problems before, it certainly needs an independent new review to make sure the prose issues have been addressed. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:39, 11 June 2015 (UTC)
- The prose is clear now. I also did some tweaks and removed the "stub" label which shouldn't appear on DYK articles. I cannot verify the hook (as it was above) as I do not speak Japanese but that can be AGFed. Someone needs to check the expansion, but the prose is readable and the existence of citations in the article and hook are confirmed. Victuallers (talk) 16:53, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
