Operation PBFORTUNE
[edit]- ... that Operation PBFORTUNE, organized by the US Central Intelligence Agency to topple Guatemalan President Jacobo Árbenz, was terminated before it could be completed?
- ALT1:... that Operation PBFORTUNE, organized by the US Central Intelligence Agency to topple Guatemalan President Jacobo Árbenz, was terminated when the coup attempt became too widely known?

- Comment: I have not provided sources here because the hook is drawn from several, and it would get unwieldy. The hook facts, however, are so central to the article that I don't see issues with it, and I'm happy to dig into the sources for quotes if needed.

- Only thing missing is the QPQ at this point. Promotion to GA was recent enough, article is definitely long enough and there are no obvious copyright issues, though I don't have immediate access to the offline material so most of that is taken on faith. I would also recommend using ALT1 as the hook, but once that QPQ is done you should be good to go.GrinandGregBearit (talk) 21:01, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
- GrinandGregBearit: Thanks for the review. I've finished the QPQ now, do take a look. Apologies for the delay, my internet has been unreliable. Vanamonde (talk) 05:19, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
