- Comment: There's probably a better way to word the hook, open to suggestions. In Ontario there are dozens of Dundas Streets and even a town named Dundas, all of which are named for anti-abolitionist (or at least delayer) Henry Dundas. Over the past 18 months there have been numerous calls to remove his name; in Toronto a major downtown road is to be renamed this year... so I figure "controversial" is an apt word in this instance.

This is more of a comment than a review, but I'm not really sure if this hook is working out. Dundas doesn't seem to be a well-known name outside of Canada, and so I'm not sure if the hook would appeal to a broad audience without additional context about him. Do you have any possible suggestions for hooks that don't involve him? Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 13:10, 27 January 2022 (UTC)

The two hooks proposed both seem to be about bridges and say nothing about the highway itself. Would the nominator be interested in something like... "one-way travel on Ontario Highway 78 failed to alleviate traffic issues in Wallaceburg?" Flibirigit (talk) 18:58, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
The bridge is part of the highway for all intensive purposes, but I'm not opposed to your suggested hook. - Floydian ^τ _¢ 01:22, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

Overall: Article was expanded from a redirect on January 18 and nominated within seven days. Length and sourcing are adequate. Article is neutral in tone. No plagiarism issues detected. Images used in the article are freely licensed on the Commons. QPQ requirement is complete. ALT0 is verified by the cited source and properly mentioned inline. However, I agree with the comment above that ALT0 would not likely be interesting to a broad audience since Henry Dundas is not a widely recognized name. ALT1 is slightly more interesting, but the wording in the hook "just 17 days after" is inconsistent with the wording in the article "Just two weeks later". Re second-opinion request for ALT2: The citations check out, and the information appears in the article with citation. Although there's nothing wrong with ALT2, I prefer ALT1 because collapsing bridges are far more of a fascination to passing rubberneckers than one-way systems.
