Not Our First Goat Rodeo
- ... that Not Our First Goat Rodeo is the second collaboration between Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer, Chris Thile, and Aoife O'Donovan, released nine years after The Goat Rodeo Sessions? Source: "On October 24, 2011, Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer and Chris Thile (with Aoife O'Donovan) released their first album together, entitled The Goat Rodeo Sessions." [1] "It was released on June 19, 2020." [2]
- ALT1:... that in the album title Not Our First Goat Rodeo, the term goat rodeo refers to a chaotic event in which many things must go right for the situation to work? "The term goat rodeo refers to a chaotic event where many things must go right for the situation to work..."

- @Noahfgodard: This is just a comment but I wonder if a better hook could be proposed here. Most of the names listed here probably won't be names that the typical front page reader would recognize, so I'm not sure if the hook as written is sufficiently "hooky". Would it be a good idea to instead focus on the "goat rodeo" aspect? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 09:13, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Narutolovehinata5: Good idea; I've added an ALT1 now. Noahfgodard (talk) 18:05, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
- ALT1a:... that the album title of Not Our First Goat Rodeo refers to a chaotic event in which many things must go right for the situation to work?
- This article is new enough and long enough. I am approving ALT1, and have also rewritten it as ALT1a to avoid repetition. The hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. No QPQ is needed for this first DYK. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:49, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote ALT1a. But the last paragraph under Background looks like a dumping ground for cites. Why can't you summarize the individual reviews? Yoninah (talk) 13:43, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: I added a new section with info on chart history and reviews. How does that look? (At the moment there are a few quotes, but I can paraphrase/summarize if you'd prefer that.) Thanks, Noahfgodard (talk) 20:39, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
