New Zealand Young Farmers
[edit]- ... that the national organisation New Zealand Young Farmers has a televised contest where young farmers answer questions, do farm work sessions, solve problems, and show their business skills?

- The hook is not cited in the article. Footnote 3 only verifies the winners list, but the rest of that paragraph is not support by a raw list of the winners. A news article that discusses the contest itself would work, but until one is found and added, I can't verify the text. Additionally, the first footnote is given as being from stuff.co.nz, when it should use the Manawatu Standard as the source. Imzadi 1979 → 01:51, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
- The article is in a sorry state then. Very disappointing that I assumed good faith on the part of an experienced editor that is also an admin. I check that stuff all of the time in my DYK reviews and DYK noms, but this time I fucked up badly. Consider this withdrawn. SL93 (talk) 01:56, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
- One additional issue: the logo. I just looked on the organization's website, and that's not the logo in use, even though that's the stated source. Imzadi 1979 → 02:02, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
