Fish in the New World Depart­ment Store

• ... that the abandoned New World Department Store in Bangkok became home to thousands of fish (pictured)? Source: "There are about 3,000 fish, most of them mango fish, striped catfish and catfish, he added. The pond attracted public attention in June last year when photos of it were posted online, drawing more people to visit the abandoned centre to feed them." [1]

• The nomination seems to have been made a few hours after the seven-day window closed, but we can let that pass in good faith. The article looks otherwise eligible, with the hook fact sourced and the QPQ completed. • The image looks alright to me in terms of licensing. You may want to use the cropped version in the article as well, though, as I believe one of the conditions for an image to appear at DYK is that it should be used in the article.--NØ 10:34, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
