Neor Lake

[edit]
Neor Lake
Neor Lake
  • ... that the Neor Lake (pictured), a shallow lake located in a hilly area south of the Ardabil Province of Iran, was formed due to two fault zones during the Eocene period?

  • The hook mentions that the lake is shallow, which is supported by the line in the article: "The average depth of the lake is about 3 metres (9.8 ft)". However, only the first reference seems to back this claim up; the Virginia Institute of Marine Science page doesn't list any depth that I can see. The other (more important) facts are supported, and with a minor tweaking, I see no reason that this shouldn't pass.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 23:09, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
Gen. Quon Thanks for the review. There seems to be some confusion. The hook text is in the lead. The depth information is not part of the hook and is in this reference [[1]]. I have made minor changes in the hook text with commas. Let me know if any more clarification is required for giving a green tick.
Ah yes, that makes sense. Good to go now.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 20:56, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
