Insufficient expansion
Nazario Moreno González
[edit]- ... that Nazario Moreno González, a deceased Mexican drug lord, is venerated as a saint in some localities of western Mexico?
- Comment: I'm not sure if the article meets the fivefolds requirement, but most of the information that was on the article before I expanded was unverifiable (since the sources were dead). I hope it can meet the requirement for "Former unsourced BLPs (such as those in this category) that have been thoroughly sourced and in which the prose portion has been expanded twofold or more within the past five days are also acceptable as "new" articles."

- The rules for "former unsourced BLPs" are very strict, and indeed this article has a great many source citations. Perhaps key is that you yourself added material back on July 12 that contained sourcing, so your November expansion was from an article that you yourself had added sources to. As a result, a 5x expansion is mandatory, and according to DYKcheck you have expanded from 2679 prose characters to 10342, while a 5x expansion requires 13395 characters. You will need to add another 3053 prose characters for this article to qualify. Do you think this is possible? If not, the article will not qualify. I should also note that you may need to supply a QPQ review for this article: you have four previously approved DYKs, and either this article or the Los Zetas article will be number five, whichever is approved first. The other one will require a quid pro quo review of another DYK nomination done by you in order to receive final approval, as will all subsequent submissions. (I've not reviewed beyond DYKcheck at the present time.) BlueMoonset (talk) 06:16, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply. To be honest, I don't think I'll be able to expand it more; I did all the research I could, so I guess this article won't qualify. Sorry about it, but thanks for taking your time to respond. I'm approaching my final exams at school so I'll be checking my Watchlist from time to time. Good day. - Creator will not be able to expand it further; article does not qualify as it has not achieved a 5x expansion. BlueMoonset (talk) 05:36, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
