National Intercollegiate Band

- At the end of the first paragraph under "National Intercollegiate Band established, 1947": "The 1947 NIB was recognized as the first-ever intercollegiate band assembled with a national scope in the United States," which is supported by ref 6 (ref 2 supports other info in the paragraph). Surely it follows that since it was the first intercollegiate band, it is the oldest. Sycamore (talk) 21:10, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
