Narendra Kumar (physicist)
[edit]- ... that Narendra Kumar is the co-developer of Dorokhov-Mello-Pereyra-Kumar equation, a theory on multi-channel conductivity using the principle of maximum entropy? Source: Padma Shri citation
Created by Tachs (talk). Self-nominated at 12:20, 6 May 2017 (UTC).
- Length, age, sourcing and QPQ generally check out, but I do have a question about the source of the hook. What exactly is that source? The backside of a book? The invitation to a talk? The source in the article says "Padma Shri citation from the Raman Research Institute", but that's hardly specific enough. Please clarify this. —♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 12:30, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Amberrock: Hi mate, this is the award citation of Padma Shri which has been made available online by Raman Research Institute as Kumar is associated with the institute. He was not present at the investiture ceremony and it has been noted on the top of the citation. Trust this clarifies. jojo@nthony (talk) 13:20, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- I have noted here another reference, curriculum vitae of Kumar published by Raman Research Institute The details are mentioned under the title, Work done by Prof. N. Kumar in the last ten years high-lighting the level of attainment subsection a) Quantum Transport in Disordered Systems. jojo@nthony (talk) 13:27, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Amberrock: I have expanded the title of the reference as per your advice. Thanks jojo@nthony (talk) 07:18, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
@Yoninah:, I have added the details to the hook as well as the article. Thanks. jojo@nthony (talk) 05:48, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
