- OK, this article was nominated on the 28th and it should've been expanded 5 times in 5 days. On the 23rd it had about 1,608 characters and now it has 4,939. The artilce should be expanded at least to 8,040 characters to be eligible for a nomination. --Երևանցի ասելիք կա՞ 05:16, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- From the 23rd until 28th there are 5 days. I nominated on its five day, the article is new enough and has more than 1,500 characters. That means that it satisfies the WP:DYK criteria. If I/or somebody started working on it months after its creation it should have expand it 5x times in 5 days. — Tomíca(T2ME) 17:58, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- I don't seem to understand what you were trying to say. The article was not expanded 5 times in the last 5 days before nominations. Nothing else matters.--Երևանցի ասելիք կա՞ 22:33, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- If the article is 5 days old, you do not need to expand it 5 times. If the article itself is older than 5 days (ex. week, month, year, 2, 3, 4 years) then you need to expand it 5 times in 5 days. At this point the article was more than 1500 characters, meaning it is eligible for DYK. — Tomíca(T2ME) 22:35, 29 November 2012 (UTC)

- According to DYKcheck, the article was created as a redirect on October 28, and started as a proper article on October 29, so the article was 30 days old when nominated. Even if you were to ignore the first two starts to the article by JuanDaniKevin2012, and go with the November 14 restart by SrGangsta, it's still too old to come under the "new article" rule; the 5x expansion rule clearly applies here. Since the article was nominated on November 28, the expansion would be counted as starting no earlier than November 23. As of the final edit on November 22, DYKcheck says the article had 1580 characters, meaning a 5x expansion would require a minimum of 7900 characters after the expansion was over. The actual expansion began on November 25, but November 22 is still the edit prior to that one, so that is indeed the baseline number. At the present time, DYKcheck says the article has 4575 prose characters, so another 3325 prose characters (lists and tables don't count for DYK) will need to be added for the article to qualify for DYK. - It's been 12 days, and the article is now 5386 prose characters, still far short of the 7900 needed. Allowing a final week to be brought up to size. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:46, 11 December 2012 (UTC)
- Article remains far short of 7900, and is now 5433 prose characters, an increase of only 47 over the past week. Regrettably, as it's 2467 characters short of the requirement, the article cannot be approved. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:14, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
