- Length is long enough (2271 characters readable prose size), both hooks are in the article, does not need a QPQ (only has 1 DYK credit). Everything seems to be sourced, however, I have not done a full check. Article should be eligible. Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 19:48, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- New reviewer needed to do a full check and complete the review; prior reviewer had not finished, and has not returned in over a month. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:24, 26 June 2019 (UTC)
- Article is in good shape. I went through the refs, all are good. At 139 chars, hook is short, and interesting. Article clears eligibility criteria because it was created and expanded in the very first edit. I'd go with the main hook that Yoniah didn't strike out. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 09:05, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
- I'm wondering what makes this article notable? There are apparently approximately 15,000 murders a year in the United States. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:43, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
- It's a fair question and by that line of reasoning, a bunch of murders across the globe that have an article here would be up for a notability check. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 06:11, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
- We need to have a discussion on whether this article meets WP:EVENT as we have done with similar articles in the past. This event does not appear notable at this time. Flibirigit (talk) 13:49, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

- I agree with Cwmhiraeth and Flibirigit on notability. I nominated it for AfD. SL93 (talk) 05:45, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
- FYI, the AFD is located at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Murder of Senicha Lessman. This nomination is on hold until that discussion closes. Flibirigit (talk) 12:26, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
- the nomination is rejected since the article has been deleted. Flibirigit (talk) 13:04, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
