Moupin pika

[edit]

Solid article on good sources, no copyvio obvious. Go you intentionally have no image. Without it, I don't know even that a pika is an animal, so the hook is for specialists only. Can you tell us anything else, such that they live on Tibet's mountains? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:47, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
ALT1: ...that the Moupin pika occurs in the mountains of the eastern Tibetan Plateau in Gansu, southern Qinghai, Yunnan, and Sichuan in China; in Bhutan; in Sikkim in India; and in northern Myanmar?"
Ah, here is ALT1, does it look better Gerda Arendt?Adityavagarwal (talk) 12:27, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
It looks better, but is too long, pick two, - you don't want interest people in Yunnan, or do you? Every link not your article diverts interest. - Image? - How about "pikas live", instead of "pika occurs"? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:47, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
Gerda Arendt In fact, I have merged it with the DYK of the Template:Did you know nominations/Forrest's pika. It looks very interesting there. I hope it is fine with you! The problem is that, I do not know which two to pick (it might look partiality if I randomly pick two countries...) :P. Yeah, if the merge is not fine with you, I would leave two DYKs as is, instead of merging them. I would also unlink the province names. The image does not look so good, so I did not add it. However, if you think it should be added, I would add it. Adityavagarwal (talk) 12:56, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
I generally advise not to combine. In this specific case, you run in the problem that the other reviewer also doesn't find the species specialties not so interesting.
ALT2: ...that Moupin pikas live in the mountains of the eastern Tibetan Plateau in Gansu, among others.
approving both --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:09, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
I'd add the image and a more interesting hook, like:
fine with me, watching for other wishes and the image, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:18, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
Both look fine! Removing the double hook from the other species. Thanks, Gerda Arendt and Morganfitzp! Adityavagarwal (talk) 14:58, 18 September 2017 (UTC)
