Mooky Greidinger
... that Mooky Greidinger's dream was to create the world's largest cinema chain, until Cineworld abandoned its takeover of Cineplex in June 2020?Source: "In the first half of 2020, the Greidinger family's Cineworld will become the world's largest cinema chain when it completes the $2.1 billion acquisition of Canada's Cineplex, giving it over 11,000 cinema screens worldwide ... Those who know the Greidingers say they are not so much consumed with making money as becoming the world's number one cinema chain." ([1]) and "International movie theatre chain Cineworld PLC says its deal to buy Cineplex Inc. for $2.8 billion is off, claiming that "certain breaches" of the contract were made by the Canadian company." - New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. QPQ done.
- The hook, however, is confusing. If you don't know that Mooky is associated with Cineworld, the two parts of the hook don't seem to go together. Could you make the hook clearer please? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 19:29, 15 July 2020 (UTC)

... that Mooky Greidinger, CEO of Cineworld, and his family aim to create the world's largest cinema chain?Philafrenzy (talk) 20:52, 15 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Philafrenzy: thank you, but the source doesn't exactly say that, and they only own 29% of Cineworld at that. Can you come up with a better hook please? Yoninah (talk) 20:41, 18 July 2020 (UTC)

... that Israeli cinema CEO Mooky Greidinger's family have been in the cinema business since the 1930s?Philafrenzy (talk) 21:25, 18 July 2020 (UTC) - ALT3:
... that Israeli cinema CEO Mooky Greidinger's family opened their first cinema in Haifa in 1935?(It's implied that this was their first but not stated explicitly. Philafrenzy (talk) 21:29, 18 July 2020 (UTC)- @Philafrenzy: thank you for the alts. You know, the article is so skimpy that it's hard to find more to write. Have you looked for more sources? Yoninah (talk) 21:42, 18 July 2020 (UTC)
- Edwardx did most of the expansion. There are other sources that deal with Greidinger as a person rather than Cineworld but they are behind paywalls that I don't have access to. Why can't we go with ALT2? Philafrenzy (talk) 22:16, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
- ALT4:... that Mooky Greidinger, now CEO of Cineworld, began in the cinema industry by working for his father as an usher? Philafrenzy (talk) 07:49, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
