Mohamed El-Shenawy
[edit]- ... that footballer Mohamed El-Shenawy declined to accept his man of the match award after Egypt's opening match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup? Source: Washington Post
- Reviewed: List of international goals scored by Javier Hernández
- Comment: I've omitted the reason he declined the award to hopefully make it more intriguing for the reader to click.

- An impressive expansion from stub class that is free of copyvio. No image in nom. The hook is cited to the Washington Post, however, the actual footnote is contained in the sentence following the hook in the body of the article. As these are mutually dependent sentences I interpret that to mean it is an inline citation but note it here for the promoter's benefit. (Of note, however, "Muslim" should be capitalized as a proper noun in the body of the article; however, article spelling is not one of the DYK criteria so I only note that observationally here.) Hook is long enough and interesting. The only thing missing is a QPQ. Chetsford (talk) 17:49, 22 June 2018 (UTC)
