Milli Bus
[edit]- ... that the government-run Milli Bus service in Afghanistan received close to 1000 buses as foreign aid after many of them were destroyed during war?

- Expansion from a two-sentence stub to 1,747B started on 17th Dec. I agree with the Start-class grading: the article, although shortish at the moment, provides a suitable overview and is not stubby. References are good and have been used appropriately w/ no copyvio or close paraphrasing. Article is well written (I relinked a couple of links that were pointing to disambiguation pages). The ref used to support the hook is valid: it states Afghanistan had received 931 buses, including mini buses, in donation from India, Pakistan, Japan and Iran over the past decade. Good to go, but also a couple of suggestions: the article could be expanded a little more using more info from some of the sources, and a picture would be very beneficial (although probably difficult to find a suitably licensed one). Note to hook promoter: I would also suggest taking out the words of them from the hook. Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 20:54, 21 December 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you for the suggestions. Will do my best to further expand the article. I've been scouting Flickr and several online transport forums for a CC licenced image, it is rather hard to come by one. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 21:20, 21 December 2014 (UTC)
- Comments: I don't get the "many of them" part of the hook. It reads funny to me. Why would this company take in destroyed buses? Perhaps "many similar vehicles"? Or I suggest "...after most of its fleet was destroyed during war?" --PFHLai (talk) 14:33, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
- @PFHLai:, nowhere have I stated that they have taken in destroyed buses. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 19:02, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
