[edit]

Bass guitarist of the band My Chemical Romance, Mikey Way, during a performance in 2011.

  • The hook is ok and interesting. From 17 November to 23 November, the article was expanded more than two folds, which is ok for a biography. The citation is ok. You haven't had any DYK credits for the QPQ, which is ok (correct me if I'm wrong). I've moved the "pictured" closer to the referred the article. I say this one pass for the DYK.-Rochelimit (talk) 12:09, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
  • The size isn't an issue: the article has basically been created from scratch after there not being an article. Two-fold expansion only works if a completely unsourced bio of a living person had been here prior to expansion, so this is not relevant. My concern here is the sourcing, which is almost entirely from TV.com, and worse, a trivia and quotes page. TV.com is not considered a reliable source, since just about anyone can post this material without editorial supervision or checking. IMDb has the same problems as TV.com. Rotten Tomatoes also has fan-supplied material, so I'm not sure the information from there is any better. This also has a bearing on whether Mikey is notable separate from the band: the reason articles have been deleted before is that he has not been. At the moment, I see only a single reliable secondary source: the EW.com article, used in two places. That's not enough to establish notability. The My Chemical Romance website is a primary source, which can be used for limited sorts of information, but doesn't establish notability. As it currently stands, this article does not meet DYK standards for sourcing. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:38, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
