Mike Edwards (American football)

- Hook is short enough and interesting. QPQ completed. Article created on Feb 7 and is long enough. Article is generally well sourced, and the hook is also supported by an inline citation to a reliable source. Spot-checking shows no signs of plagiarism or copyright violation. Looks fine. - Is this for all of American football—pro, college, high school—or just for college football? It's hard to get a true sense of that from the source, but it seems to be talking about him as a college football player, so I'm guessing college football. Can this be clarified in the article and in the hook? Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:53, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

- I've restored the original hook, so it can still be seen (although I've struck it for the issues noted), and designated your edited version as ALT1. Otherwise, the commentary above makes no sense. Please be sure to use ALT hooks in the future. Thanks. Also, while the body of the article has been fixed, the intro still contains the "led the nation" wording, and shouldn't. Once this is fixed, the article should be ready for reapproval. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:35, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

- Approval restored per Cbl62 now that the one clarification has been made to the two places necessary in the article, and ALT1 has that clarification of the original hook. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:25, 28 February 2013 (UTC)
