Michael Robinson (rabbi)
[edit]- ... that Rabbi Michael Robinson and 15 other Reform rabbis were arrested and jailed after answering Martin Luther King's call to stand with him for civil rights in St. Augustine, Florida? Source: "The 16 rabbis, the swimmers, the two leaders of the march and nine other demonstrators were taken to jail to join the more than 200 persons arrested earlier in sit‐ins." (The New York Times)
Created by Gerda Arendt (talk) and Yoninah (talk). Nominated by Yoninah (talk) at 16:50, 24 November 2018 (UTC).
- New enough, long enough, neutral enough with no obvious copyvio, hook is interesting enough and correctly cited (the mention of him is buried down at the very end, but it's there). Good to go. ‑ Iridescent 22:25, 26 November 2018 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: I have promoted this, but please expand the lead a bit in case the article gets tagged as "lead too short". Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:13, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
