Men of Good Will
[edit]- ... that Men of Good Will by Jules Romains (pictured) is one of the longest novels ever written? Source: "What's the world's longest novel? ... Jules Romains' Hommes de Bonne Volonté, tipping in at 2 million words"[1]
- ALT1:... that, at 2 million words, Men of Good Will by Jules Romains (pictured) is one of the longest novels ever written?

- Comment: The image is nothing special. I include it since it's there but wouldn't expect it to be the pick of the day. Not suggesting "the longest" as there are methodological issues, including such aberrations as Marienbad My Love

Article is new enough and long enough. Book cover removed as it is a fair use image and can't be used here. Replaced with free image of the author. Hooks are correctly formatted and have inline cites. Added name of author to first. Article is neutral and well referenced. The article should give a list of the titles in French but that isn't a problem for DYK. It also shouldn't have all those references in the lead as there should be nothing in the lead that is not already in the body of the article where it can be referenced. That also won't prevent it being approved. No copyvios found. Philafrenzy (talk) 08:26, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you for the review and for catching the image. A list of French titles is on the to do list; I'd like to replicate the beautiful table on the French article but wasn't able to figure out how to port it quickly. I'll try again later. I've restructured slightly now to move all the references out of the lead and infobox. Mortee (talk) 09:47, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
- I just tried to import it and failed. It's only 26 lines, you might as well do it by hand. Philafrenzy (talk) 10:31, 26 January 2018 (UTC)
