Mega Mendoeng
[edit]- ... that Mega Mendoeng was directed by a man trained as a sound technician?

- 1) Article mentions "assistant director" and "sound technician" not "director" and "engineer", 2) hook has an initial appeal, but it is confusing. There are many examples where people start their career as editor, cinematographer, actor and later graduate to director. Anyone directing a film is a director. --Tito☸Dutta 14:02, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
- It was the only film he directed too. Worth mentioning? Fixed the wording. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 14:54, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
- That may not clarify either. When someone is directing a film, he is the director. I don't think the film credited him as "Directed by Boen Kim Nam (sound technician)". Yet, make changes in the hook. Let's see how it goes. Something like ... that Mega Mendoeng was the only film directed by Boen Kim Nam, who was originally a sound technician?. Else, if Rendra Karno is notable enough, then it was her debut movie. --Tito☸Dutta 16:49, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
- Rendra Karno is easily notable, and I think Moesa is too (though it wasn't Moesa's debut). However, that's not as interesting. Reworded the hook again, though I think this is starting to overcomplicate things. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:08, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
- Do you have any online copy of Biran, Misbach Yusa's work? --Tito☸Dutta 05:07, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
- No, it's not digitized. Want me to send you a scan (photograph) of the pertinent page? — Crisco 1492 (talk) 05:20, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
- Not needed. Good to go (AGF). --Tito☸Dutta 05:47, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
