Mary Lura Sherrill
[edit]- ... that Mary Lura Sherrill (pictured, second from right) is one of three women from the same research group who have independently won the Garvan Medal for women in chemistry?
- Reviewed: Beryl Platt, Baroness Platt of Writtle; Julie Makani
- Comment: created for Women in Science Edit-a-thon; suitable for Women's History Month
Created by Mary Mark Ockerbloom (talk). Self nominated at 16:02, 20 March 2014 (UTC).
- Length, date verified. Part of the hook's ref is verified (that Sherrill, Carr and Pickett independently won the medal) and part is accepted AGF by a ref which isn't online (that the three women were from the same research group). All non-lede paragraphs have refs; all refs appear to be RS. No apparent close paraphrasing issues. Image is from Commons. QPQ done. GTG. --Rosiestep (talk) 14:27, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
