Mary E. Clarke
[edit]- ... that Mary E. Clarke (pictured) was the first woman to achieve the rank of major general in the United States Army?
Created by Doug Coldwell (talk). Self nominated at 12:41, 9 January 2014 (UTC).
- comment to promoting editor Could I be first in the queue with the Army color picture (recently added). Thanks.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 11:46, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
- @Doug Coldwell: I can't see the full text of all the Google Books, but I'll AGF. Newness and length are fine. Most sources are fine, but ref number 2 isn't too reliable, IMHO. The content was less-than-neutral in one or two places, but I fixed them. Why not use the image? --Jakob (talk) 19:42, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
- @Doug Coldwell: OK, the unreliable source has been removed (it was why I didn't approve it before). The image I was talking about is File:MaryEClarke.jpg. --Jakob (talk) 20:37, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for idea. I've included the picture.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 12:02, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
