Marriage of Narendra Modi and Jashodaben Chimanlal
[edit]- ... that the marriage of Narendra Modi and Jashodaben Chimanlal has been an estrangement lasting nearly 50 years?
- ALT1: ... that the marriage of Narendra Modi and Jashodaben Chimanlal was revealed before Narendra Modi became Prime Minister of India?
- ALT2: ... that the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi was thought to be single until he confirmed his marriage to Jashodaben Chimanlal?
- Comment: There is controversy around this topic and I am not sure if DYK touches controversy. Please inform me if there is a rule forbidding it because I might have overlooked one. This topic was AfD'd three times previously as a BLP1E, so I reformatted the information to be about the event instead of the person and I made a new version of it on 7 November. Previously in September I had proposed something like this at Template:Did you know nominations/Jashodaben Chimanlal and it was quickly moved out of mainspace pending a lot of discussion. I just moved this information back into mainspace and it got AfD'd. If this passes AfD, I would like to nominate it for DYK so that it can get more review.

- Even assuming this survives AfD we need to consider the "don't focus on negatives" guideline for hooks. There's a very odd smell to the fact that this one aspect of the subject's life is being highlighted in a separate article -- without which there'd be no DYK eligibility.
