- I'd prefer dropping the Ig Nobel, which could be taken as making fun of Dacke. How about just

- It bothers me a little bit that the image and the Swedish article were created by an editor without other significant contributions. For one thing, uploaders with little experience often don't have understanding of the image licensing policy. The actual photograph was taken by one Erik Thor according to the SUA website: [4] It's possible, of course, that Climbingsloth is Erik Thor but it also seems quite possible that this is a copyvio upload. This should be looked into. Haukur (talk) 11:32, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
The size is below 1500 characters (pagesize.js gives me 1373). Haukur (talk) 12:16, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
- Haukur Thanks for the review! Sorry about the size, I must have counted the characters wrong! Will see if I can expand the page and will comment here when/if it's over 1500 character (or if I think it's not possible in which case obviously happy for the DYK to be rejected. Personally I see the Ig Nobel Prize as a badge of honour, but happy to drop it if you think this is not generally the case. With regards to the image and Swedish article, I used the Swedish one as inspiration, but it is not a literal translation and I have sought out additional sources myself, so the English article should be absolutely fine. With regards to the photo I'm not sure what is going on there and what the best step is to resolve that, I just found a photo on Wiki Commons and figured that if there was something wrong with the photo it would be resolved there. - I looked into the Swedish article too and it seemed okay, so I'm not worried about the text anymore. As for the image, I suggest you contact Erik Thor or the SUA to clarify the matter. The photographer could then confirm the license or (if it wasn't his upload) maybe agree to release it freely anyway. Or he might not, of course. Good luck with the article revisions. - I have expanded the article and emailed the SUA to check re the photo (but still waiting for a reply). Will update as soon as I get one! Achaea (talk) 20:05, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
- According to DYKcheck, the article is currently 1710 prose characters long. BlueMoonset (talk) 07:24, 19 September 2019 (UTC)
Maybe we can just delete the image and proceed without it. If we can't confirm the license I don't think it's credible. Haukur (talk) 08:21, 19 September 2019 (UTC)
- Interesting solid article, on good mostly Swedish sources, accepted AGF. I prefer ALT1 - with thanks to Haukur enough to strike the other. Thank also to BlueMoonset for the length check. The picture will probably not be taken anyway for such a short article, and shouldn't because of the licensing question. Perhaps not even in the article? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:52, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

- I made a silly mistake, striking the wrong hook. I corrected that now, and also removed the confusing image info. The image was not even considered for the Main page. Thank you! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:13, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
- O dear, forgot that ALT2 is better! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:15, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
