Maria de Wilde
[edit]( Back to T:TDYK )
( Article history links: )
- ... that an engraving by Dutchwoman Maria de Wilde (1682–1729, pictured) of her father meeting Peter the Great records "the beginning of the West European classical tradition in Russia"?
Created by Drmies (talk). Self nominated at 04:29, 22 April 2013 (UTC).
- I've added Jacob de Wilde, her father, for a double DYK, and will review another article shortly. Drmies (talk) 17:33, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
- Article length and age are fine, no copyvio or plagiarism concerns, reliable sources are used. Maria de Wilde prose is good at 4200+ characters. Jacob de Wilde is fine at 4300+ characters. Hook is interesting and under the 200 maximum characters. Hook has been verified in BOTH articles. BOTH articles created yesterday (within 5 day time limit). QPQ done for Maria de Wilde. Assuming QPQ on good faith will be done for "Jacob de Wilde". Otherwise good to go.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 13:28, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks--I totally forgot to add Template:Did you know nominations/Public Vault at the Congressional Cemetery, which I did yesterday (I think). Drmies (talk) 16:48, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
