Maria José Martínez-Patiño
[edit]- ... that Spanish hurdler Maria José Martínez-Patiño forgot to bring her "certificate of femininity" to a competition and, after a test, was declared a man?

- Comment: I'd like to get this up on 8 March, if possible.

- Sorry, that day is already prepared, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:33, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
- The sources are refreshingly in English for a change. Maybe I'm being too picky, but I've tweaked the hook. It said she "forgot to bring" the certificate, but the source says "she had left her sex certificate from that test at home". Maybe she thought she didn't need it, and intentionally left it home. I'd prefer not to say that she "forgot" it based on that source. Feel free to tweak my "neglected", or restore "forgot" if you think I am being too picky. Size and date are fine. Hook facts are properly cited. The article has sufficient inline citations to reliable sources and is neutral. No close paraphrasing detected. Article is well-written and interesting. QPQ supplied, and the hook is also interesting. As Gerda pointed out, the International Women's Day sets have already been prepared, but I'll move this to the Women's History Month holding area. - Update. Another source says that she "forgot" it. I've added an additional citation to that source after the hook fact in the article, and restored "forgot" to the hook. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 22:52, 6 March 2015 (UTC)
