Mansur ibn Furaykh
[edit]... that the Ottomans made Mansur ibn Furaykh the strongman of Beqaa because of his well-known animosity towards Shia Muslims and Druze, but executed him for oppressing the population?- ALT1: that, after granting Mansur ibn Furaykh authority over Beqaa, the Ottomans executed him for oppressing the population?

- The nomination was made within the deadline after creation. Article is long enough, is neutral, contains adequate citations, and has no close paraphrasing or other copyvios. However, Al Ameer son, you have not reviewed another nominations. Once you do that, then this nomination can move forward. Lastly, while the hook is cited, it is too long. It needs to be shortened, and I would suggest something like "that, after granting Mansur ibn Furaykh authority over Beqaa, the Ottomans executed him for oppressing the population?--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 23:55, 15 September 2015 (UTC)

- @Al Ameer son: Good. The hook still needs to be shortened, though.--3family6 (Talk to me | See what I have done) 03:17, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
