- Date, length and hook all OK. I did have to make a minor edit to the coding as you accidentally titled the nom page about the Cup itself. I have to pass only ALT1 in this instance as the original doesn't give much context to those unaware of the US football system. If @SounderBruce: wishes to reword it, I'll have another check on it. QPQ is done, no close paraphrasing. Good to go. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 17:14, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
- Looking to promote this, I can't find the ALT1 hook fact in the article, with the word "expansion" being used only once in the article, in a different context. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:43, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Cwmhiraeth: First sentence of the second paragraph under "Road to the final". In the Orlando Sentinel reference, it's in the second paragraph, using the word "join" instead of "expansion", and generally explaining what an expansion team is; the Fox Sports reference calls it the first MLS Cup between two expansion teams. - Sorry, my mistake. At the time I was searching for the hook fact, I was looking at the article MLS Cup. That was because I had been investigating the first hook which I thought, and still think, more interesting. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:10, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
