Mörder, Hoffnung der Frauen
[edit]- ... that Mörder, Hoffnung der Frauen (Murderer, Hope of Women), the first opera by Paul Hindemith (pictured), set a play by Oskar Kokoschka and was performed with stage set, costumes and choreography by Oskar Schlemmer? Source: [1] - for Schlemmer, click on "Details"
- Reviewed: Tony Bennett at the Talk of the Town
- Comment: after we had the scandal this caused today, we can get more serious ;)

- Hi, I came by to promote this, but it just seems like a lot of name-dropping. What do you think about:
- ALT1: ... that Mörder, Hoffnung der Frauen (Murderer, Hope of Women), the first opera by Paul Hindemith (pictured), was inspired by Expressionism?
- Or without an image:
- ALT2: ... that the one-act opera Mörder, Hoffnung der Frauen (Murderer, Hope of Women), was inspired by Expressionism?
- Yoninah (talk) 21:42, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
- Well, I think that's too simple, and could be said about many other works. If you think the names are not known - I am afraid you may be right - how about piping them? I know no other work where so prominant visual artists did something other than their visual art like that.
- ALT3: ... that the opera Mörder, Hoffnung der Frauen (Murderer, Hope of Women) set a play by an expressionist artist and was performed with stage set and choreography by a Bauhaus artist?
- I'll move the image to the other nom then. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:23, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
