Date, length, article size, and source all look good, and the article appears to follow Wikipedia guidelines. I definitely think ALT1ALT0 is the more compelling hook. That hook was three character longer than the 200-character limit, so I changed "would transport paintings" to "transported paintings" just to get it under that threshold.
