Long-tailed spiny rat
[edit]... that some long-tailed spiny rats have lost their tails?

- The article has been expanded sufficiently within the past week. The article appears to be well sourced, but it says that "many individuals have lost their tails", which I cannot find in the cited paper. Can you please provide a quote? The rest of the article is easily verifiable. If the hook claim (as it appears in the article) can be verified, I would like to suggest a slight rephrasing that might prove to be "hookier"
- ALT1 "... that some long-tailed spiny rats do not have tails at all?" This would probably not count as an alt hook. Surtsicna (talk) 12:25, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Surtsicna: The source states "a biopsy from one ear was taken in the case of three Proechimys longicaudatus that were missing tails". I have changed the wording in the article and am happy with your ALT1 suggested hook. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:12, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
