Lola Maverick Lloyd
[edit]- ... that Lola Maverick Lloyd (pictured), the granddaughter of Samuel Maverick, co-founded the first Federal World Government organization?

- detailed article on few but good sources. If you have more, you are welcome, but it's fine if not. I didn't get the idea "first attempt at a world government", perhaps pipe-link as in the article? Should it be "co-founded"? I would perhaps be even more interested in Women's International League for Peace and Freedom as early as 1915. - In the article, last sentence, I find "Lola's death" with just her first name a bit surprising, could be "her death", or a quote from someone who speaks of her by first name. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:27, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
- Perhaps Teemu08 might find these useful:
- Thanks for the sources, Maile. When I get a chance, I will incorporate them into the article. I changed the last line of the death section and changed the blurb to co-founded. I appreciate the esoteric nature of setting up the first organization to create a world government, and would be fine if the blurb read something like "co-founded the Campaign for World Government."
