List of Presidents of Pakistan
[edit]- ... that out of eleven presidents of Pakistan, three came into power through one of the successful military coups?
5x expanded by Sundostund (talk). Nominated by Sahara4u (talk) at 01:47, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
- This is not a 5× expansion. The original version has 605 characters, while the current version has 2,274 characters. This article needs 3,025 characters to meet 5×. —Bloom6132 (talk) 13:24, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

- Sorry, but the current version only has 2,579 characters. It's still below the 3,025 characters required for 5× expansion. —Bloom6132 (talk) 22:53, 18 January 2013 (UTC)
- The previous version (you mentioned above) had 180+ chararcters without "Notes", with "Notes" it was 600+. The current version without "Notes" has 2500+ characters, and with "Notes" it has 3000+ characters. Hope you are getting me!. Zia Khan 00:20, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
- From what I understand, Notes are not counted into the final character count. And the official counter—javascript:importScript('User:Dr pda/prosesize.js'); getDocumentSize();—confirms 605 characters, not 180.
In order to ensure neutrality, another reviewer should look over this DYK nomination.—Bloom6132 (talk) 00:43, 19 January 2013 (UTC)As I had previously stated above, a new reviewer should take a look at this nomination in order to ensure neutrality. My work here is finished. —Bloom6132 (talk) 02:46, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
- Forget it. Looking at this again, the DYK rule of thumb is to defer to another reviewer if I completely reject the nom outright. That hasn't been done, so even though I don't have to take a look at this again, I will. Article has now been expanded 5× from 605 to 3,029 characters (just above the necessary 3,025). Hook is under 200 characters (at 114). The BBC News source (ref 7) is reliable. QPQ done. Looks good to go! —Bloom6132 (talk) 21:53, 19 January 2013 (UTC)

- I've looked through the article, and can't find any wording or citation that supports the hook's claim of "eleven elected presidents" (my emphasis). The text in the article that states eleven does not also state that they were all elected, and the table in the article indicates only seven elected (eight if you count the independent, which apparently should be done since he won election a few months after taking over as acting). I'm not even sure you can say something along the lines of "eleven non-acting presidents" if you go by the table, since Bhutto is listed under the red "acting", even if it was a different constitution in force. It may be that the easiest thing is to drop the word "elected" and gloss over the acting ones, since the Pakistan website supports the eleven number, but there may be a more elegant solution. - Removed, hook now accurate. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 15:12, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
