Liquid fly-back booster
[edit]- ... that fly-back booster for Ariane 5 was criticised for being an Airbus with rocket engines?
- ALT1:... that DLR designed reusable boosters for Ariane 5?
- ALT2:... that Germany proposed Super-Heavy Lift Launcher capable of lifting over 67 tonnes to space?
- Comment: My first nomination. Article created on 9 June, worked on till 10 July. Beware: Alt2 is within section marked by {{One source}}, but still one of more interesting facts in the article.
Created by SkywalkerPL (talk) and Scribbleink (talk). Nominated by SkywalkerPL (talk) at 22:38, 22 July 2015 (UTC).
- alt2 now has two refs that say its "67" and "near 70" Victuallers (talk) 11:20, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks SkywalkerPL (talk) 12:22, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
- Looks to be a great article! However, you nominated it on 22 July, while the article creation was on 9 June. DYK rules state that an article has to be nominated within seven days after creation, or an 5x expansion, etc. Crispulop (talk) 17:44, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
- No exceptions? ;) SkywalkerPL (talk) 13:51, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
- I think people don't make a fuss if it's a couple of days late, but 1,5 month too late might be a bit much. Crispulop (talk) 20:32, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
- Well, it's been worked on till 10 July - in cooperation with Scribbleink this article really improved and if you'll compare the latest version with one from 10 July - pretty much every line got changed. So... I haven't even thought about putting it to DYK right after publishing it. But yea, that's cool, maybe next time I'll make it on time ;) :) SkywalkerPL (talk) 08:39, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
