- Article length, date of creation, hook interest, prose, and reliability of sources all check out. Spotchecked the three most frequently cited online sources from the article for copyvio and unduly close paraphrasing, using toolserver, and found nothing problematic. The only issue is the on-line sourcing for the Sequoias being planted in 1864. (I did find this source about the Sequoias that you may want to add, but it doesn't give the planting year.)
