Liberia Cement Corporation
[edit]- Comment The website of the Liberian Observer doesn't work the best; if you can't access one of its articles, or if you get gibberish code, just refresh and you should be able to get it before long.

- Article length, date and sources check out. The hook, however, is not very accurate. The hook makes it sound as if Cemenco has a legal monopoly over cement sales in Liberia (i.e. no other company is allowed to sell cement), while the source doesn't support that conclusion at all. In fact, it says that it's the only company, but that there are attempts by other companies to compete (even if yet to materialize). I think some tweaking might be in order. Other than that, this should be good to go. Yazan (talk) 16:32, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Since it's currently the only company in the business, by definition it holds a monopoly; you can hold a monopoly without governmental involvement. Nyttend (talk) 21:02, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- Well, I'm personally not convinced that the two are the same. Nevertheless, another reviewer may feel differently. Yazan (talk) 06:42, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
