- This article is new enough and long enough, and I have added user Grimes2 to the credits. The ALT0 hook will not do because the article does not mention "centuries of music" but I could approve ALT1, which I have added and which leaves that phrase out. The article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. A QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:14, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you, but it seems saying too little. Will think about it. From vacation --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:13, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- I added a bit from the other article. There's this external link about 600 years of tradition in its title but I hesitate to use that as a ref as I can't see it. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:42, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
- We might as well go with ALT1 as nothing else has been forthcoming. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:57, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- I'd prefer the original, and it's mentioned and sourced now as I tried to say above. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:04, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- I don't agree that the original is better, I was just trying to move this along. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 08:39, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- I understand that we don't agree. ALT1 gives readers a name in a foreign language, a composer they will not know and a prize they may not know. I thought 600 years would add something generally known (and I missed making a DYK for Leipziger Universitätsmusik). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:51, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
- Gerda, the lead of Leipziger Universitätsmusik is really hard to understand. I suspect that article needs a copyedit for English grammar. Yoninah (talk) 23:35, 14 February 2019 (UTC)
- I tried, but am not sure how to say best that it's now the (combined) name of a couple of ensembles. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:43, 14 February 2019 (UTC)
