- Detailed life on many and mostly good sources, but can you do something about the ones found dead? What do you think about including this image, to show his sport at a glance what sport he plays? I like the last ALT best, - how about including that was his fourth Olympic participation, instead of saying "led the Malaysia contingent" which seems to be redundant to "flagbearer"? - The article has FA potential, thank you! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:18, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for commenting and your suggestion. I've added the image and also reedited the ALT2. By the way what do you mean by "ones found dead"? Do you mean dead links at the references? NgYShung huh? 02:12, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for the image. - Yes, I mean the dead link tags. When I have them, I see if I can 1) find a replacement, and if not, 2) remove the link making it an offline ref, or 3) remove the ref if not needed. It's ok as it is, just let me know. - The hooks: the original is focused on rivalry, ALT1 is for insiders (I wouldn't understand it without following the links), ALT2 is a bit longish. My wording would be:
- ALT3:... that in the 2016 Summer Olympics, Lee Chong Wei (pictured) was the Malaysia flag bearer, participating in Olympics the fourth time? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:02, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
- ALT4:... that in the 2016 Summer Olympics, Lee Chong Wei (pictured) was the Malaysian flag bearer, in his fourth Olympics?
- Thanks for commenting and your suggestion. I've added the image and also reedited the ALT2. By the way what do you mean by "ones found dead"? Do you mean dead links at the references? NgYShung huh? 02:12, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
- I've added an even shorter ALT4. Edwardx (talk) 01:49, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
- I've cleaned up most of the dead link before it become GA using Checklinks, seems like there are still some dead link in the references link. I'll be fixing them as soon as possible. NgYShung huh? 13:18, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- ALT4 preferred, Chinese sources accepted AGF, image licensed and a good illustration, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:58, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
