Laticauda colubrina
[edit]- ... that the tail of Laticauda colubrina resembles and moves like its head to deter predators?
Improved to Good Article status by Sn1per (talk). Self-nominated at 18:25, 12 October 2016 (UTC).
- The article was promoted to GA status on 10 October 2016 which should exclude copyright and referencing issues. It is also long enough. The hook is neutral and not too long either and is verified by two reliable references. I think also that the fact that an animal makes its tail look like the head is unusual enough to make it interesting for a broad readership. As this appears to be Sn1per's first DYK nomination there is also no obligation to review another nomination. So, all in all this nomination is good to go. De728631 (talk) 22:18, 12 October 2016 (UTC)
